Greetings!

Rock Lake Elementary proudly announces we are an A-rated school for the third time!  As the Master Principal of Rock Lake Elementary, I firmly believe that every student has the potential to achieve academic excellence, especially with the unwavering support of our families and community stakeholders. The active involvement of our families is essential to this journey. A safe and nurturing home environment is the cornerstone for developing children who are prepared to learn and thrive. Moreover, fostering social skills that promote kindness, respect, and the ability to extend grace without judgment is crucial for our students. These qualities are foundational for their success, both in school and in life. As your dedicated community stakeholders, our faculty and staff are committed to ensuring that when students arrive at school, we invest our utmost effort to meet them where they are academically. We will collaborate in professional learning communities to design individualized educational plans that cater to each student's unique needs and support their academic growth. Additionally, we are devoted to providing a wide array of extracurricular activities that foster growth in the arts, recognizing that a well-rounded education encompasses more than just academics. We believe in creating opportunities for our students to showcase their diverse talents and interests, nurturing them into well-rounded individuals. Together, with the support of our families and community, we will empower our students to reach their fullest potential.

Remember, Knowledge is Power!

Best Regards,

Melanie Simmons
